NUS Charity has again created a consultation response and a template response for SUs to help you respond to the OfS's third consultation - this one is about the specific guidance they are proposing to give SUs, and about their ability to potentially recover costs from SUs. 

We have created a thorough consultation response - taking onboard your concerns, seeking specific legal advice and aligning with other stakeholders such as UUK and university mission groups. 

Our template SU response to the consultation will support you with the capacity to respond in depth, noting the points raised by NUS Charity but leaving space for you to address specific concerns and outline potential issues you see occuring. The more responses the OfS receive, the more likely they are to address our concerns so if you have time we would really appreciate you submitting a response. 

The deadline for submitting the consultations to OfS is 26th May - submit via their online form.
