Taking our Koreo learning partnership into 2022

Tuesday 14-12-2021 - 16:01

This year we created an all-new partnership with Koreo, the learning partner of the student movement, to offer bespoke, professional training and development for SU officers. Over the past six months we have grown the number of officers taking part in the radically personal Lead 365 learning development programme, delivered a range of workshops and provocation sessions and listened deeply through these experiences to SUs about the key learning and development needs across the movement.

As a result, NUS Charity and Koreo are delighted to launch our tailored offers for 2022- including a new Fastrack Officer Transition package to help and support officers move onto the next stage of their career and development after a year deeply affected by the covid-19 pandemic. There is also a new learning and coaching programme designed specifically for CEOs and senior leaders, a return for the flagship Lead 365 programme for officers and a suite of coaching and learning programmes and spaces targeted at building leadership capabilities across the movement.

Full details of the Koreo partnership will be shared in the new year.

Fastrack Officer Transition Programme

Detailed feedback from SUs shows that officers continue to face really challenging circumstances with the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, and we know that giving leaders space and time to reflect, go deeper in their learning and access support to think about their own learning and development couldn’t be more important in the months ahead.

Learning from our experience of working with officers through the Lead 365 learning programme we are now delighted to be working with Koreo to offer a fast-track programme tailored around transition.

A bespoke three month programme running from April to June 2022, Fastrack is a high-support, high-challenge learning experience for officers that focuses on their self-development and next steps. The programme is targeted at exiting officers to help support their transition into the next phase of their career and the social change movement and is made up of a package of support normally worth over £1,500 including:

  • Two bespoke 1-2-1 coaching and reflection sessions with a trained coach
  • A tailored self-diagnostic and development review taking stock of their experience with the union and mapped to Koreo’s Student Leadership Framework
  • A learning session looking at transition and skills
  • A masterclass on careers in the social change movement and taking the next step in your career and development

To register your interest and reserve spaces on the programme for just £499 ahead of full registration opening in January please get in touch. Please note, participation numbers will be strictly limited.
