As part of our sustainability plans, we’re engaging in a membership-wide upskilling programme to enable you to access knowledge at your fingertips and begin the job of upskilling commercial teams on sustainability and climate change and what this means for our operations into the future.

 

 

We’re excited to announce a partnership with The Future Food Movement, an online community and upskilling platform, to bring you bitesize eLearning modules that can be done at your own pace and specifically relate broader topics to the food industry.

 

Please nominate a member of your commercial team to have access to the community platform and digital eLearns. This individual should be someone who can use this knowledge to develop your sustainability approach, and who will work with us to develop the approach with other students’ unions.

 

The nominated sustainability champion would be asked to attend a monthly online 60 minute sustainability working group to discuss and align thinking between students’ unions, trading support and the supply chain. We’ll be asking sustainability teams to join separately so please nominate someone from your commercial team who is staying within your organisation so we can develop and build knowledge within the commercial area.

 

Your nominated sustainability champion will receive one log in for the FFM community portal and one to an eLearning platform called Reuzer.

 

Future Food Movement community membership includes:

• All community upskilling live events, community huddles, and “Ask the Expert” sessions
• On-demand suite of masterclasses
• Bitesize videos and resources to improve base level knowledge
• Support and inspiration from a like-minded community of professionals striving towards similar goals in a community exclusive online space with members directory
• Digital eLearn modules: Net Zero, Human Rights, Food Waste and Social Impact
