Launch of NUS Democracy Survey

We are calling for all our member organisations to tell us about their democratic structures for our upcoming LEDI report.
Part of the operational work of Students’ Unions, Associations, and Guilds is developing a structure that allows its membership to engage in a way that is easy to understand, accessible, democratic, and empowering. Such structures differ between Unions with some excelling in supporting student democracy and liberation. With this in mind, the National Union of Students (NUS) are launching our democracy survey!
We’re asking all our members to tell us in-depth how they are structured, with a key emphasis on democracy and liberation and how it works to represent the needs of underrepresented students.
The information provided will shape our upcoming LEDI report, which will outline best practices for organisations in order to better support your students.
The deadline for the survey is Tuesday 9th November 2021
