Westons has shared the latest edition of their On Trade Cider Category Update.

Key take-outs this month:

• Coming out of a cooler summer vs 2022, cider gathers pace and is really driving overall LAD growth (+6.6% value, +2.6% volume), again ahead of beer
• Total cider ROS continues to grow healthily, but draught ROS outpaces total category with the largest growth once again coming from draught apple +7.4%
• Premium draught dominates the bar from a cider perspective with well over 60% share, led largely by premium apple as consumers migrate from more mainstream apple brands
• Westons continues to take overall category share and has grown +9.4% vs the category +6.6%
