May contain allergens (Precautionary Labelling) on Fully Baked Baguette FUL004

 

 

We would like to make you aware of a recent change in our precautionary labelling (PAL).

 

We were informed by our manufacturer of Fully Sliced Baguette (FUL004) that PAL has been updated.

 

Please be assured that there is no change of ingredients in the product declaration.

 

The ‘may contain’ statement was amended due to the factory using other ingredients within the facility on a separate line.  It was previously declared as nuts (hazelnut & pecan) and has now been amended to nuts (walnut & pecan) and the additional allergen of milk.

 

 

All of our foil bags contain a statement, which allows us to continue selling the product under the old packaging and we will be updating our foil bags imminently to reflect the changes.

 

The statement reads as follows:

We cannot guarantee that any of our products are free of a particular allergen due to the use of shared equipment, utensils, cooking methods and open product handling on site. Consumers are encouraged to talk to a member of staff prior to purchase to check whether any allergens may be present.

We can confirm that this information has already been updated on the outer box of the baguettes.
