Bridging the Dialogue Gap — Invitation to Express Interest

NUS Charity have been funded by the Department for Education to support the delivery of a new England-based programme that tackles antisemitism and builds interfaith dialogue in higher education. Bridging the Dialogue Gap is an initiative delivered in partnership with Cumberland Lodge and Yad Fellowship; the programme brings together student leaders from across England to develop the skills, relationships, and confidence to hold difficult conversations on campus and to drive meaningful change within their students' unions and institutions.
We are looking for expressions of interest to participate in the programme. We're asking each participating institution to support the recruitment of participants - each participant group will include three student Fellows, a students' union staff member, and one HEI staff member. The student fellows will participate in a year-long programme including two residential weekends at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor, specialist training on antisemitism and anti-Muslim hatred. The wider groups will have an opportunity to attend working group workshops, join an online Community of Practice and support the development of innovative ideas and resources to support campus cohesion now and in the future.
Participation is fully funded — there is no cost to your institution or students' union. We ask that any participating institutions commit to the full programme year and that the institution actively supports the student Fellows in embedding their learning within your campus community.
