Join us on Friday 31 March 2017 for Reclaim the Night Wales.
Reclaim the Night is an annual event, organised by the NUS Wales Women's Campaign, that gives women a platform to call for an end to violence against women.
This year we will be meeting at Cardiff University Students' Union at 6.30pm for some rousing speechers before heading off on our march around Cardiff city centre.
This event is open to all genders, is trans and sex worker-inclusive, and the route and venue are fully accessible for wheelchair users. Self-defining women will lead the march, but anyone who wants to make a stand against violence against women is welcome to join.
These marches exist to demand justice for victims of rape and sexual assault; they state that women should be able to walk the streets at night without the fear or reality of violence. They give women a voice and a chance to reclaim the streets of their cities and towns.
