Call for workshop proposals

The student movement in Wales is about sharing what we’re all doing. This year, we’re opening up two one-hour workshops in our Zone Conference to our members. But we’re not going to decide who gets the slots – you are.

Here’s how it works

  • Think about what you and your team are doing well, what you know, and what you wish you’d known. What’s your big issue on campus? Has your students’ union solved a problem particularly well? Now think about how you’d share this with others in the student movement.
  • Write your workshop proposal of no more than 100 words.  Essentials: name of the workshop, a summary of what delegates will learn, the names of who will deliver it.
  • Send it to NUS Wales: democracy@nus-wales.org.uk

All workshop proposals due by 12 October at 5pm.

NUS Wales will compile these workshop proposals and send them back out to you to vote. May the best two win!

Registration

Please make sure that you are registered by 12 pm on Friday 2 November. You can register online here. You will need your students' union's secure code to register; if you don't know your code, you should be able to ask your students' union's president or general manager/CEO.
