Town Hall Meetings: International Day of the Student

Tuesday 17th November is International Day of the Student.

Students and sabbatical officers around the country are organising local action, campaigning events and (virtual) Town Hall Meetings with local politicians to discuss students' treatment throughout the pandemic, tell them why our #StudentsDeserveBetter demands are so important, and share personal stories & experiences. We want students to feel empowered to make their voices heard and express their frustrations and concerns with their government and institutions.

This is an opportunity for students and SU officers to join forces and lobby the government together, celebrating the collective power of our movement on International Day of the Student (Tuesday 17th November).
