Declaring a Climate Emergency
This webinar looks at understanding what we mean by the term 'climate emergency' and how it relates to students' unions. There will be a case study looking into how and why this was done at University of Lincoln SU last year and what the impact has been. We will also be delving into the importance of data when it comes to influencing your stakeholders and how you can build your network around the climate emergency before opening up for a Q&A.
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Discuss the methodology used and the outcome of the Lincoln SU case study
- List some potential data sources you could use to help shape your arguments around the climate emergency
- Identify ways of building your network around the climate emergency
