The student movement is at its best when working together, and NUS works to help officers and staff across the country to work together, to collaborate, organise and share best practice.


Staff Communities of Practice

Staff communities of practice are run by students’ union staff for peers within the student movement. These groups allow staff to connect, build relationships, and share good practice with people in their field, or define into the same liberation group. They are key to fostering and sharing staff expertise across the movement.

Officer Networking

Officer networking spaces are member-led spaces and exist to connect officers to one-another with facilitation and administration (where needed) provided by NUS Charity We want officers to be empowered and engaged with one another in a space that we provide (these are not accountability nor campaigning spaces.) Meetings happen termly and are grouped either by portfolio or region.
