Returning for its milestone tenth year this August - Student Media Summit 2017 is the premier gathering for student journalists and reporters aspiring to careers in the media industry.
The special two-day summit is hosted by NUS and Amnesty International and is designed to help students improve their skills, prepare them for their next steps in journalism and offer some excellent networking opportunities with professionals from across the industry. It will also provide a unique opportunity to get some fresh and exclusive content.

There will also be stalls promoting trainee schemes with Channel 4’s Investigative Unit, the Guardian, the Press Association and much more, including;
Student Media Summit will again take place at the Human Rights Action Centre in London, the headquarters of Amnesty International UK on Tuesday 29 August (12-7pm) and Wednesday 30 August (9.30am-5pm).
Attendance is free but there is a £5 registration fee to cover administration costs. All food and drink will be provided over the two days.
Accommodation is not provided but we recommend options nearby the venue such as The Dictionary Hostel.
Due to popular demand, you will need to register online in advance.
