Women Students' Conferences

National Union of Students welcomes your participation at our annual Women Students' Conference, taking place on 5 - 6 March. Location details to follow shortly.

NUS Women Students' Conference is the sovereign policy-making body of the Women Students' Campaign which is a politically autonomous part of NUS UK.

This Conference brings together delegates from students' unions affiliated to NUS UK to discuss, debate and vote on motions and elect the political leadership for the year ahead.

Womens Conference Rules

 

Delegate Entitlement

Each Constituent Member is entitled to send a maximum of four delegates made up of:

• Up to two open place delegates.

• Additionally one reserved place delegate who defines as a black woman.

• Additionally one reserved place delegate who defines into another Liberation group (black, disabled or LGBT+) or has caring responsibilities.

All of these delegates have full voting and speaking rights and must be elected.
