Smoking and tobacco prevention on campus

On Tuesday 20 January 2015, 43 people attended a workshop run by Scottish Student Sport, NUS Scotland, and ASH Scotland for the Healthy Body Healthy Mind Awards, entitled “Smoking and Tobacco Prevention on Campus”.


The event was held at Glasgow Caledonian University, where in 2014 they were awarded five star status for their Healthy Body Healthy Mind work. 

Smoking prevention is a new addition to the criteria of the Healthy Body Healthy Mind award, and the workshop was designed to help institutions working towards fulfilling the specific smoking prevention elements of the award.
