You must submit motions for NUS Wales Conference by Friday 10 February 2017.

One of the most important parts of NUS Wales Conference is when our students’ unions come together to set the direction of our work for the year ahead. They set the political direction of our movement by passing policies.

They do that by introducing motions to Conference. Delegates at NUS Wales Conference will debate the motions and then vote on them. If they’re passed, they will be official NUS Wales policy for the next three years—all thanks to you!

But do that, you must first submit a motion. The motions submission period is currently open and you must ensure that you have submitted your motion by no later than Friday 10 February 2017. That will allow plenty of time for the priority ballot to take place (which decides in which order motions are debated at Conference), and for other delegates and unions to suggest amendments.

If you wish to submit a motion, you must do so on-line. Remember, the deadline for submitting motions is Friday 10 February 2017.
