Rob Young has been elected as NUS Vice President (Society and Citizenship) at National Conference 2016.

Commenting on their election, Rob said:

"I am delighted to have been re-elected as NUS’ Vice President Society and Citizenship for a second term. I am proud of my track record so far, but there is still so much to achieve. As we begin to deal with the fallout of leaving the EU and with another general election around the corner it has never been more pressing for students and young people to make their voices heard, to hold our political leaders to account and to organise in our colleges, universities and communities, and I look forward to leading that work in our national union."

Rob Young was elected NUS Vice President (Society and Citizenship), with the vote count being:

366 – Rob Young

328 – Danny Nasr

8 – RON (Re-open nominations)

Rob Young will begin their second term as NUS Vice President (Society & Citizenship) on 1 July 2017.
