NUS Scotland has been working with the Scottish Government to organise a Presidents Roundtable. This will give ever students' association President in Scotland the opportunity to speak to government ministers directly, and put the concerns of their students on the governments' agenda.
The event will take place on 29 January in the Scottish Parliament. Richard Lochhead, Minister for Higher Education, Further Education and Science will take part, as will a number of other relevant ministers. The Minister's office will be writing to all students associations directly soon to invite their Presidents to take part.
This is a huge opportunity for the student movement in Scotland, and it's a testament to the respect NUS Scotland has in Scottish society and the influence our campaigns have over government. Ahead of receiving your invitation, we strongly advise all students' association Presidents to block out 29 January in their diaries.
