This year is the 6th annual conference for staff working in Membership Services in students’ unions, and will take place on the 13th and 14th August at the Union at Manchester Metropolitan University, in conjunction with NUS.
MSConf is a practitioner conference for staff working in student opportunities, representation, campaigns, governance, advice and the management of those services. Once again, we are delighted to welcome back the Student Volunteering Network, which comprises staff from students’ unions and institutions working in volunteering.
Due to popular demand, we are capping delegations to 5 per organisation, in order to allow as many unions to take part. We will be building a waiting list alongside this. We encourage you to book early, as this will sell out.
Once again, we have an outstanding agenda, presented by students’ union staff, sector colleagues and organisations. Particular thanks should go to our union volunteers who helped curate the programme.
Back by popular demand, we are running the delegates’ networking survey as a part of the registration process – this asks you if there are any particular skills or experiences that you are looking for and what you might have to offer (e.g. you may be looking for a mentor or be interested in becoming someone’s mentor) so it is probably better to register yourself, if possible, in order to be a part of the networking aspects of the Event App.
Register your delegation, with your union’s secure code.
We are really looking forward to seeing you in Manchester in August for the event of the year!
