Could you do with an extra channel to keep your students up to date? If so, then why not consider NUS media Outdoor?
You may have heard, but not know much about, this brand new channel so we thought we’d give you a quick download before the official launch at SU Local.
NUS media Outdoor is a new marketing channel which will become a national network of digital screens across students’ unions.
The screens will carry advertising for both local and national campaigns working with existing partners and new business. There’ll also be a number of advertising slots available for you and external advertisers to use and they’ll support programmes such as Meal Deal, Retail plus and NUS extra, too.
Paul Parkes who is managing the first wave of installations said: 'We’ve had a really positive response from unions so far and are currently in the first phase of installations which will be online by the end of January. Moving forward we’re looking to continue the growth of the network and with the support of unions, aim to have 20 sites by the end of 2015.'
How will your union benefit?
Your Union will receive £250 (plus VAT) annually for the screen and receive 20 seconds of advertising per minute.
How many advertisements?
In total there will be a maximum of six ten-second advertisements running per minute. This will be made up of 20 seconds advertising for your union plus four made up of external and NUS advertisements.
What are the screen options?
There are a number of screen options available that can either be wall mounted, free standing or set up to incorporate display space for retail or newspaper dump bins for public areas.
