DeCafe: It’s time to get talking

Monday 04-04-2016 - 15:39

Help engage young people in their democracy and become a Bite The Ballot Changemaker.

Bite The Ballot is on a mission to reinvent the coffee house experience of the 17th Century.

With regional elections and the EU referendum looming, there’s plenty for young people to be talking about.

But as the people least likely to be registered to vote, 16-24 year olds are in danger of being left out of the conversation.

Students’ unions have a real opportunity to make a difference in 2016’s elections, and Bite The Ballot want to help you do so.

Put simply, all you have to do is:

  • Bring 15-30 people from your local area together
  • Book a space that you all feel comfortable in
  • Drink tea and coffee
  • Have a chat!

If you run a session and evaluate it here, BTB will even throw in an official qualification.
