Further information for students’ unions as they prepare for the #CutTheCosts Westminster Lobby on 8 December.

Students' unions across the UK are preparing for the #CutTheCosts Westminster lobby on Tuesday 8 December.

With this week's Autumn Statement and Comprehensive Spending Review reaffirming George Osborne's decision to scrap maintenance grants and with the cost of student living continually on the rise, students' unions are coming together to demand action.

The #CutTheCosts Westminster Lobby and Week of Action is our opportunity to convince politicians to invest in education instead of continuing to increase the burden of debt on students.

The Westminster lobby will see students from across the country meet with their MPs to express their concern at this pressing issue.

To support SUs in joining the Westminster Lobby, we have prepared a list of frequently asked questions about what the day will involve and how students should prepare.

More information about the lobby can be found here, and the full FAQ document can be downloaded here
