21 November will see the start of #iwillweek, a celebration of youth social action around the country. Here’s how you can get involved.
The #iwill campaign aims to make social action part of life for young people by promoting the double-benefit of getting involved – the benefit to young people and to their communities.
From 21-25 November, #iwillweek celebrates the impact that young people are making and enables others to get involved.
NUS has pledged to work with and through our member students’ unions to increase student participation in social action. We aim to do this by evaluating and sharing the impact of student opportunities on students and communities, and by overcoming barriers to participation.
The week is an opportunity to engage your students with the opportunities that are available on your campus and beyond.
Take part with a one-off action during the week, encouraging people to get involved with your student opportunities, or simply share stories of the work that you already do week in week out.
We want to showcase the work that students’ unions are doing to promote social action year round - share your story on social media using #iwillweek or in more detail with firstname.lastname@example.org.
