Campaign for warmer homes and lower bills this Cold Homes Week

We're a strong supporter of the Energy Bill Revolution campaign and we'll be proud to support #ColdHomesWeek from 2 Feburary.

Energy Bill Revolution is the world's biggest coalition on fuel poverty, campaigning for warmer homes and cheaper bills for everyone across the UK. We want to see government use carbon tax to roll out a nationwide, ambitious energy-effeciency scheme.

Our Homes Fit For Study report showed that this was a key issue for students too. Nearly 39 per cent of students struggle to pay their energy bills, and over three quarters limit the use of their heating.

40 per cent of students even spend more time in university or college buildings, just because their house is so cold. This needs to change.

UK homes are among the most badly insulated in Europe. More than ever, we need to take action on energy-effeciency and ensure that everyone - students included - are living in decent, healthy homes. We want to see government take action, and that's why we're supporting #ColdHomesWeek.
