Aram Mohammed elected as Asylum and Refugee Officer

Aram Mohammed, student at City of Glasgow College has been elected as NUS Scotland's Asylum and Refugee Officer.

At NUS Scotland Zone Conference on Friday 21 November, student officers from across Scotland gathered to discuss changes to the NUS Scotland rules and to elect NUS Scotland's first ever Asylum and Refugee Officer.

Aram Mohammed, who currently studies at City of Glasgow College gave a compelling speech about his experience and laid out his plans for the role. Aram Mohammed was elected as NUS Scotland's Asylum and Refugee Officer and will now sit on the Scottish Executive Committee.
