#ReclaimBlackStories

NUS Scotland Black Students' campaign is launching #ReclaimBlackStories an exhibition that you can host in your students' association or share online to share the reality of Black history and what it's like to live in Scotland at the moment - as told by Black students.

More about the exhibition

#ReclaimBlackStories aims to reclaim the experience of Black People historically, and in the present. Stories that have been undervalued and mythicised both academically and popular culture; those that have too long been told through Eurocentric and imperialists narratives. As a photo-biographic exhibit, BlackStories gives young black people a platform to reclaim the narrative, retell the story according to their experiences and those of their families.
