Council Tax and Students - Consultation

The Department for Communities and Local Government and the Welsh Assembly Government have consulted on proposed changes to council tax rules for students in England and Wales, principally on ensuring full-time students who travel abroad for study in the European Union remain exempt.

NUS responded to the consultation, and have raised other issues relating to international students and postgraduates - you can read our response here.
