Two policy briefings help make sense of the new Welsh Government White Paper on further and higher education.

The White Paper maps out the Government's plans for universities and colleges in Wales. The document, published on 2 July, is open for consultation until 24 September 2012. See the Welsh Government's website for details of the proposed legislation.

NUS Wales is currently consulting member students' unions and drafting a response to the Welsh Government. Contact Kieron Rees, NUS Wales Representation and Policy Officer, for more information.
