NUS Wales Events in partnership with the Sector

Student Charter

The Higher Education Funding Council for Wales will be launching a Student Charter Circular in September giving guidance to institutions on expected levels of good practice when it comes to reviewing the Student Charter at your institution. This document was put together with NUS Wales, Higher Education Wales and the Funding Council.

Higher Education Funding Council for Wales - Annual Public Meeting

Llanishen – Friday 21st October 2011 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

This meeting, which is open to the public, will be an opportunity to reflect on recent developments in higher education in Wales and discuss future issues affecting universities in Wales. The meeting also marks the launch of our latest Annual Report.

There will also be another similar meeting at Aberystwyth University on 8th December

Higher Education Academy - Future Directions conference

As part of a two-year project on the future of education in Wales, Higher Education Academy is running three work strands on:

• Students as partners

• Learning in employment

• Learning for employment

We will be providing case studies for the learning in employment group by November 2011 so if you have any activities in your universities which you feel are good examples of learning in employment, work experience, employability etc please get in touch with sophie.buchaillard-davies@nus.wales.org.uk
