The final wave of Be a Champion accreditation recipients have been announced as part of the celebrations for one month to go until the start of London 2012.
21 students’ unions applied in this round and have been accredited – 8 of whom are first time recipients. In total 42 students’ union have received accreditation through the Be a Champion programme.
The accreditation rewards and recognises the commitment and effort shown by students’ unions in creating an environment for Games inspired activity to flourish.
Without support and guidance from students’ unions and the officers and staff that form their backbone students wouldn’t be able to play such a role in London 2012 inspired activity.
