Leadership for Under Represented Groups

University of Sheffield Students’ Union developed a unique leadership programme to encourage women, international students and other under-represented student groups to run for leadership positions within its students’ union. This session will provide you with ways to increase the confidence of these student groups, and increase the diversity of your students’ union, while also encouraging under-represented student groups to aim for leadership/senior positions outside of university. This workshop will equip you with the model training programme to take back to your students’ union, which can be used as a basis for creating your own leadership programme.
