From January 2012 NUS Postgraduate Campaign will be working on postgraduate Information, Advice and Guidance. The Higher Education White Paper for England suggested that there should be a national taught postgraduate survey and Key Information Set. Public information for students is high on the agenda but what should it look like for postgraduates? And what about research postgraduates, who are barely acknowledged in this area?
In particular, how can students' unions improve the information they provide to postgraduates?
To start the debate, and hear from students, NUS will hold a forum on Information, Advice and Guidance for taught and research postgraduates. We will have a mixture of information, debate and discussion, with a view to presenting the postgraduate student perspective on information to the wider sector.
