NUS releases brief on engaging with postgraduate surveys

NUS has announced the release of a new briefing paper for unions on engaging with the Higher Education Academy national postgraduate surveys, PRES and PTES.

PRES stands for Postgraduate Research Experience Survey. PRES has been running for three years up to 2009 and will run again in 2011.

PTES stands for Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey. PTES was run for the first time in 2009 and will run again in 2010. The deadline for instititutions to register for PTES 2010 is 30th November, 2009.

Both PRES and PTES survey a wide range of aspects of the postgraduate experience, including teaching and learning, career development and institutional support and resources.
