A new research page on www.nus.org.uk/research provides access to all of our research publications.
NUS conducts, commissions, and collaborates with partner organisations and academics, to develop the evidence-base underpinning our work representing and defending the interests of students.
Now for the first time you can download all NUS research publications from the same place, to help you with your campaigning and representative activities. You can browse publications which explore:
-
education funding
-
student support and the cost of living
-
the student experience in higher education
-
student welfare and communities
-
further and higher education equality and diversity issues.
You can also look at a list of all research published over the last five years here.
NUS Connect Research Hub
We have also launched a resource developed specifically for students' unions. The NUS Connect Research Hub (www.nusconnect.org.uk/research) aims to help students' unions who want to become more evidence-led, by bringing together in one place:
-
information about NUS' research activity;
-
links to useful research you can use in campaigning, commercial activity and representation;
-
resources to help you carry out your own research; and,
-
case studies from a range of unions who have used research to create change.
If you would like to submit a case study for inclusion in the research hub, or for any questions about NUS' research activity, please e-mail NUS Research Manager, Geraldine Smith. (geraldine.smith@nus.org.uk)
