The British Youth Council (BYC) has added its support to the #No2FEfees campaign

BYC Chair, Liam Preston,  said:

‘“Further education is a fundamental right not just for young people but for those who want to learn at all ages.  With an ever changing job market and an economy which requires diversity in skills there has never been a more important time for people to be able to continue to redefine there own talents and to learn new skills.

We should be promoting and pushing for people to retrain throughout their lives especially in the early stages of their career and this proposal does the exact opposite. 

BYC supports this campaign and day of action and will continue to stand alongside its member organisations for young people who want to better not just their own lives but the rest of the country as well.”
