The Community Network met on 14 May at Aberdeen College.
The event opened with a discussion of the joint association work done via student forums on Local Authority Elections campaigns. This was followed by session on the Scottish Constitution and the Votes at 16 campaign, led by Robin and Grant Costello MSYP, Chair of the Scottish Youth Parliament.
Further discussion was held later in the day about the UK-wide demonstration in the autumn and what should be the priorities of the Community Network over the coming year, including the issues of votes at 16, youth unemployment, housing, tenancy deposit schemes and transport.
