NUS Wales Awards 2012: Honouring excellence

 

Wales is home to some of the most remarkable students within the movement. That's why their achievements will be honoured in the first NUS Wales Awards 2012.

The Awards are open to all NUS-affiliated unions and their members. Winners will automatically be entered into NUS UK Awards 2012.

You can nominate students' unions, student media, staff, campaigns and individual student unionists. Here's how:

Nomination information

To enter, download the awards criteria. The deadline for nominations is 5pm Friday 16 March 2012

Nominations can be submitted electronically to office@nus-wales.org.uk with the subject line “NUS Wales Award”, or by post to NUS Wales, Floor 2, Cambrian Buildings, Mount Stuart Square, Cardiff Bay, Cardiff CF10 3ER.

Nominees will be judged by a panel to be announced.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the NUS Wales Awards Ceremony, which takes place at NUS Wales Conference on the evening of 26 March 2012 in Gregynog Hall, near Newtown. 

Publicising the awards to your students

There are many ways in which you can publicise the awards to your students:

1) Tweet about the awards and post a link to this article on Facebook.

2) Email your student body, placing a hyperlinked header on your website.

3) Ask your student media to get involved.
