 Societies Coordinator

 Salary: £20874 inc Outer London Weighting

Hours: 35 a week

 Kingston University Students’ Union are seeking a new staff member to continue developing our growing levels of participation in student led societies. The purpose of the post is to coordinate the administration and support the development of student societies and the expansion of student activity through information, guidance and training. You will also empower student society volunteers and assist them in the delivery, development and growth of their activities on campus.

 We are looking for someone who has the ability to be self sufficient in terms of administration but who is able to support students to develop and deliver exciting and an attractive diverse range of activities to help contribute to a vibrant and enjoyable campus community.

 You will be a passionate but well organised individual, with recognition of the variety of needs that different student groups require and the flexibility to cope with these needs. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of budgeting and experience of providing procedural structures, whilst also being able to provide personal and developmental support to society volunteers at various points throughout the year.
