Two year fixed term (with potential for extension).
Through our membership, NUS Scotland represents hundreds of thousands of students at colleges and universities across Scotland. We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and hard working individual to fill this important role. You’ll join NUS Scotland's busy Policy and Delivery Team, in a brand new role, working to design and deliver campaigns with staff and student officers within the organisation, across Scotland and the UK.
In this role, you will need the ability to engage and enthuse our membership in our national campaigning work (including our Liberation campaigns), coordinating and delivering campaigns training, with the ability to use new and innovative techniques (including web-based and social media communication strategies) to get our members and students involved. Equally, you will have the ability to offer expert advice and campaigns consultancy to our membership to help them in their local campaigning priorities.
This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning campaigning organisation, building on what has been a very high profile and successful time for NUS Scotland. The next few years promise to be equally exciting, and we want you to join us in making a real and lasting difference for students in Scotland.
The application deadline is 8am on Monday 8 October 2012. Interviews are provisionally planned to take place on the 15 October 2012.
To apply please send your application form and the equal opportunities monitoring form to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note we do not accept CVs.
