Sugarhouse Venue Manager

Lancaster University Students’ Union (LUSU) are seeking to recruit an experienced late night Venue Manager with a proven track record in delivering sales, profitability, service and people development.

Sugarhouse nightclub, owned and operated by LUSU, is the largest destination venue in Lancaster. Situated in the City centre the venue currently opens three nights a week in term, providing a mix of student nights: mainstream and mash-up; urban and indie entertainment, as well as one off events.

If you are passionate about the late night licensed entertainment trade, flourish in a dynamic working environment, thrive on delivering performance improvement and would relish the opportunity to lead a highly motivated, energised team… this could be the role for you!

You should have a background in the club/late night licensed entertainment industry and experience of delivering and developing student or youth oriented services.  Your experience will demonstrate that you have successfully managed teams in business environments that focus on commercial collaboration, ideally in an ever-changing market.
