Activities Manager

York University Students’ Union has a diverse and creative student activity programme. We are looking to strengthen our existing staff team by recruiting someone with experience of developing staff teams and a clear vision for developing all involvement activities at York.

We are looking for a dynamic character ideally with experience of working in a democratic environment, but more importantly with experience of working with volunteers. You will have an understanding of how to support and develop coordination staff, will be able to effectively manage resources, and be able to communicate well with a wide range of people. Knowledge of setting medium to long term departmental plans would be advantageous and you should be confident at using Microsoft Office packages.
