It's only possible because it’s all student led.

Our professional staff are there to help, coach, encourage and support. It might seem easier to take over and do it for them but that would miss the point; students learn and develop through their triumphs and disappointments.

We need someone who will help develop cutting edge practice in supporting high achieving volunteers, acquiring skills for the future through their practical leadership of projects and activities. Acting as an in-house consultant and champion for our student leaders and their direct support staff, you will need to be a highly influential person who gets their kicks through seeing others achieve, not least your small team of professionals and interns.

You will be committed to widening and deepening participation. Students have a wide range of needs and backgrounds and we want to encourage all of them to challenge themselves to be involved in something unforgettable.

You will need to show us you have some substantial successes in this sort of work in more than one context; other than that we just want someone dazzling, brilliant and full of integrity. If you could be that person, Loughborough might work its magic on you too.
