Loughborough Students’ Union is an exciting, diverse, fast-moving organisation - the money comes in from everything from Bands and Club nights to a 100-place Nursery and a Hot Air Balloon club.

There are professional managers but the whole thing is led by elected Students.

When you add in the £1.4m we raised for Rag last year our annual turnover exceeds £8m, but it is the diversity of our operation that creates the accounting challenge.

We need someone who can make sure everything is properly accounted for and that those taking the decisions understand the financial implications.

You will probably be a CIMA-qualified accountant, with a strong track record of leading a small accounts team.
