Volunteering and Environmental Co-ordinator

An excellent opportunity to join a vibrant and dynamic organization with specific responsibility to run and further develop our volunteering programme and to act as our environmental co-ordinator and champion.

The post-holder will promote, recruit, manage and support student involvement in a range of existing volunteering and environmental programmes, as well as developing new initiatives.   In addition he/she will act as an internal consultant on environmental matters, and interface between the Students’ Union and University’s environmental efforts.

You will need to be an enthusiastic self-starter and achiever, educated to degree level or equivalent and with a prior qualification in and/or demonstrable personal experience and/or interest in environmental issues. You will also have previous experience in a front-line advisory/information/customer service role.
