KCLSU (King’s College London Students’ Union) is an independent charity that exists to support the 23,500 students of King’s College London, providing advice and support; representation and personal development opportunities to our membership. We are primarily funded through a core grant from King’s College London, which is supplemented by income from our commercial operations and fundraising activity.
KCLSU is governed by a Trustee Board, which has overall responsibility for the management and administration of the organisation, which is delegated on a day-to-day basis to the Chief Executive and the staff team.
Two thirds of the Board are current students of King’s College London who are elected annually by the members of KCLSU.
This new role has been created to guarantee specific support for our democratic system within KCLSU and will work closely with our existing Democracy and Representation Coordinator who will have responsibility for supporting and developing the Academic Representation system within King’s over the next 12 months.
To apply, please download the application pack from kclsu.org and complete the application. Completed application forms should be returned by 12pm, noon on Friday 29 June 2012. Please do not attach CVs as these will be separated from your application and not considered.
Interviews for this role will be held on Monday 9th July 2012. If you are unable to attend an interview on that date, please include this information on your application form; however, please be aware that we may not be able to schedule interviews on an alternative date.
