Strategic Conversation is an opportunity to work together to explore key strategic issues that are affecting the movement to help inform SU planning cycle and the work of NUS as part of NUS 100.

This is the first year of NUS 100. As such we are in the process of planning, aligning and prioritising.

On Day one Strategic Conversation will give you:

• A chance to hear from a series of excellent speakers and then focus down on four key strategic issues in the context of Brexit
• Support to progress work on Quality Students' Unions
• An opportunity to input into our work on improving engagement through improving democracy

Day two will provide an opportunity:

• To review activity to influence the HE Bill and FE Area Reviews over the first term
• Understand more about the early phases of NUS 100 implementation and what you can expect in the year ahead
• To discuss the Membership Contribution Model
• To review our activity and accounts for 2015/16
• Participate in the NUS UK Company Law meeting to approve changes to articles proposed by National Conference.

All of this is in the company of colleagues and friends at the end of a long autumn term in which we have collectively worked to support, engage and empower enormous numbers of students.

NUS UK Company Law Meeting

The event includes the NUS UK Company Law meeting to approve changes to articles proposed by National Conference.

Company law papers and event will be published by 30 November 2016

All Constituent Members are entitled to attend the Company Law Meeting. The meeting takes place between 12pm and 1pm on 14 December and CMs are able to attend the meeting only with no attendance fee attached.
