Welcome to a Global Future
NUS believes that during a time of high youth unemployment, legitimate international students should be allowed to continue enjoying world class education in the UK; and that to ensure that net migration is managed effectively, that all UK students should be given the opportunity to have a year's overseas experience (study, work placement, volunteer) as part of their education; this will help to enhance their global employability to cultivate highly skilled British workers for British industry to compete globally, and to enhance the global standing of the UK as a country.
On this page you will find updates on issues relevant to international students and internationalisation; notices of opportunities to travel abroad and information about campaigns we are running to move towards a Global Future.
We'd love to hear from you, especially if you have any ideas or thoughts about the Global Future campaign.
