Welcome to the Learner Satisfaction Survey hub!

The Learner Satisfaction Survey continues to give students the opportunity to give honest feedback about their learning experience.  NUS believes that these views and the experiences of students should be central to college quality improvement processes.  NUS believes that there is no feedback more valuable than that provided by students themselves.

The Learner Satisfaction Survey as part of the Further Education Public Information Framework and FE Choices not only continues to give students a voice, but also aim to inform their choice.

NUS continues to work with the Skills Funding Agency, students' unions and providers to develop engagement with these tools.

This hub is designed to give you information, advice and ideas about how you and your students' union could, and should, engage with the Learner Satisfaction Survey.

There is information about survey site access and results analysis as well as information about how best to promote the survey in your college.  There are also examples of good practice from a growing number of students' unions in the Case Studies section.

The profile of the survey is developing and providers are now placing more importance on it so they can generate a higher response rate and improve scores which means that students' unions should be doing the same.

If you need any help, have any queries or would like to talk to someone about the survey in your college or provider then please get in contact with our Project Officers by emailing lss@nus.org.uk
