Registration is now open for flagship summer conference and annual awards ceremony, which take place in Birmingham this July.
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be hosting Students’ Unions 2017 at the NEC in Birmingham, from Tuesday 4 to Wednesday 5 July 2017!
Students’ Unions 2017 is our summer flagship event for fostering and sharing expertise across the student movement. The event culminates in the NUS Awards, a celebration of your achievements and outstanding work throughout the year.
This unmissable event will see 800 staff and students from unions across the country converge on the city for two days of networking, workshops, sharing and showcasing best practice, as well as listening to leading industry speakers.
This year the annual event is themed around resilient students’ unions working together because we are stronger when we stand united and nurture the diverse talent of our movement to make change happen.
On the final evening of Students’ Unions 2017, we’ll be holding the NUS Awards which highlight and recognise the outstanding work of SUs throughout the year.
This prestigious award ceremony is now in its ninth year! The award categories range across all union activities including; Campaigns Award, Diversity Award, Education Award, Officer Team of the Year, The Simpson/King Staff Achievement Award, Student Opportunities Award and the Students’ Union Award.
Students’ unions, officers, staff from both FE and HE institutions are all eligible to be entered for an award, so let’s get nominating!
