Four student organisations have been named in the National Centre for Diversity’s Top 100 Index 2016.
The list is compiled from organisations that have been assessed against criteria of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) practices in the workplace.
Bristol Students’ Union was highest placed at 31, while Solent Students’ Union came in at 87 and Bath Spa Students’ Union was ranked number 95. NUS was placed at number 92.
Bristol Students’ Union was also recognised as Students’ Union of the Year, while their Executive Manager Suzanne Doyle was shortlisted for Lead of the Year and Most Inspiring Individual.
Their Chief Executive Samantha Budd was also recently nominated for Chief Executive of the Year at the Investors in Diversity Awards, which she told us about here.
Huge congratulations to those recognised, and all other students’ unions taking a lead in this area.
